Consumer health data privacy policy
Some states treat health-related information collected outside a medical record as its own category, with its own rules. This page is where a policy covering that would be published.
What this website collects
Nothing that is health data, unless you choose to tell us. The tour enquiry form asks which kind of care you are interested in — assisted living or memory care — and gives you a free-text box. If you write something about a health condition there, we hold it only to answer your enquiry. The site sets no cookies and runs no tracking of any kind, so nothing about your health is inferred from your browsing. The privacy policy covers the site in full.
Health information we hold as a care provider
Information about residents, gathered in the course of providing care, is a different thing governed by different law. That is covered by our Notice of Privacy Practices, not this page.
Asking about information held about you
Call (714) 775-6775 and ask for the administrator, or write to Westbrook Park Senior Living, 15302 Brookhurst Street, Westminster, CA 92683.
Needs counsel — starting with whether this page should exist at all.
A standalone consumer health data policy is required by a small number of state laws, chiefly Washington's My Health My Data Act and Nevada's SB 370, which bite when a business targets or collects from residents of those states. A national operator needs one. A single community in Westminster, California may not, and California's own rules are already handled by the Notice of Privacy Practices and the privacy policy.
Worth asking counsel in this order: does Oxford market to or take enquiries from Washington or Nevada residents; if not, is a distinct policy warranted at all; and if it is not, should this page be deleted and a short paragraph added to the privacy policy instead. Deleting it is a perfectly good answer.
To remove it: delete this file and its entry in legalPages in data/community.ts. The footer links and the cross-links on the other notices are generated from that array and will update themselves.
